How to Apply to the Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy Program

Entry into the program is competitive and has specific admissions criteria - not all applicants who apply will be accepted. For assistance in completing the application process, contact a Davenport University Admissions representative or call 800-686-1600.

Step I

Apply to Davenport University Graduate Admissions.
Students must submit a Davenport University Graduate Admission Application with a non-refundable $25 application fee through davenport.edu/apply. Application to DU Graduate Admissions is separate and in addition to the Occupational Therapy application.

 Step II

Apply to the Occupational Therapy Program through OTCAS (Occupational Therapy Centralized Application Service).  

The application process, instructions, required documents, supplemental information, and fees are described on the OTCAS web page:  https://portal.otcas.org/  

Step III

Complete the DU OT Prrequisite Form and submit to:  central.registrar@davenport.edu

Deadline for Occupational Therapy Application Materials

Fall 2015 Students

First Round deadline is February 16, 2015
Second Round deadline is March 31, 2015

NOTES:

  • First Round applications must be COMPLETE and VERIFIED through OTCAS by February 16, 2015.  

  • Second Round applications must be COMPLETE and VERIFIED through OTCAS by March 31, 2015.   Second Round applications will be considered for the Fall 2015 class only on a space-available basis. 
  • Verification by OTCAS may require 4 – 6 weeks.  Applicants are strongly encouraged to complete and submit their applications in a timely manner in order to meet the verification deadlines.   
  • Applications verified after the March 31 deadline may be considered until the class is filled.
