Amy Stahley joined Davenport University after 28 years of experience in the nursing profession. She held staff and leadership positions as a circulating nurse within the operating room. Her clinical expertise, within the operating room, consisted of neuro, ortho and cardiovascular cases. In addition, she worked within the clinical and office setting within neurosurgery as a nurse clinician, educator, and manager.
Amy taught nursing education for eight years prior to joining DU. In 2010, she began full-time at Davenport as a simulation and clinical lab coordinator. Now she serves as department chair of nursing and teaches Fundamentals of Nursing, Nutrition in Nursing, Medical Terminology, Health Promotion in Nursing, Medical-Surgical Clinical, and Leadership and Management in Nursing
