Bio:

Celebrating 14 years with Davenport University, Jean Wolfe began In Career Services and has held roles in management, executive leadership and adjunct instruction before joining the Office of Performance Excellence.  Professional experiences prior to DU include entrepreneurship, professional writing, public relations and being a significant contributor in the start-up of a now multi-state publication.

Areas of expertise include Building Competency Models, Creating Technical Competencies, Adult Learning and Non Traditional Student Populations and certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator. Jean has also studied eLearning, Universal Design for Learning, and Mentorship Program Development and was published in the NACADA monograph Comprehensive Advisor Training and Development: Practices that Deliver in 2010.

Jean is passionate about supporting and developing others, collaborating with people throughout the university and finding innovative ways to deliver – which has led to several “firsts” for employees:  use of LiveStreaming technology to deliver annual Curriculum Updates and a weeklong Professional Development experience for advisors, and promotion of INsite as DU’s informal learning community.
