Sharing Davenport's Message
University Relations and Communications, under the direction of Executive Vice President Kim Bruyn, exists to support the marketing, communications and relationship-building needs of the University. All University Relations and Communications staff are located at Davenport's Kraft Lake offices.
Marketing, headed up by Executive Director Steve Landrum, is responsible for establishment and stewardship of the University's brand plus all advertising and external outreach to prospective students, working closely with Admissions.
Communications, headed up by Executive Director Robin Luymes, is responsible for all communication programs developed for stakeholder audiences, including students, faculty and staff, alumni, donors, legislators, business leaders and more. Also, Communications executes the University's media relations and social media campaigns.
Community and Government Affairs, headed up by Executive Director Deb Bloom, is responsible for planning and executing the University's outreach to the communities in which Davenport operates, including the national and state legislators representing those regions.
