My name is Rachel Hahn, and I am an advisor located at the Saginaw Campus. I currently advise on campus, online, and military students. In 2006 I earned my B.A. from Saginaw Valley State University, and in 2010 I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University. For my counseling program, I completed 600 hours of counseling services to college students in Flint, MI. During this time, I realized that good advising is very similar to counseling, as it has the ability to impact someone’s future by helping them work towards their personal goals.

Davenport University’s effort to support students by providing them with their own (reachable!) advisor is something I am happy to stand behind. All students have previous experiences that impact what brought them to school, and I am here to help all students find their path to educational success.

In my new endeavor to specialize in military advising, I am honored to work with military students in order to make their transition to school more comfortable. We understand that our military students face unique challenges when returning to school, especially if they are coming home from war. We are your new support and know that you chose a school that truly cares about its students!
